Enchanted.

In which a soft blush of light comes down upon you.
Enchanting and illuminating you.
Your irises like gleaming stars.
Your mouth a pillow of mischief and woe.
I see through you with pleasant pasts.
A place and time that has yet to come.
Where you and I are soft like fur.
Warm and safe and forever one.
The Earth beneath so unbearably heavy,
but we float as clouds above it all.
Veins like ribbons tie bows in our toes,
holding us near but letting us go.
If not for long, yet evermore,
we shall part till these truths be true.
You with I and I with you,
across a sea of brackish hue.
